Your Data

Your messages, files, notes, and connections live on SE's Canadian servers with encryption and restricted, logged access — and you own them. SE keeps content for a maximum of 3 months, then deletes it. You can export or delete your data at any time.

Manage it from your account settings: Privacy controls who sees what, and Account → Download your data exports a copy or closes your account.
