Your safety is YOUR responsibility. Always exercise caution when meeting people from the internet. Trust your instincts - if something feels wrong, it probably is.

- Video Call First Before meeting in person, have a video call to verify they are who they say they are. Our built-in video calling with consent screens helps you do this safely.
- Meet in Public Places For first dates, always choose busy, public locations like cafes, restaurants, or parks. Avoid private locations until you've built trust.
- Tell Someone Your Plans Share your date details with a friend or family member - where you're going, who you're meeting, and when you expect to be back. Use our check-in feature for added safety.
- Arrange Your Own Transportation Drive yourself or use rideshare so you can leave whenever you want. Never rely on your date for transportation on first meetings.
- Stay Sober Keep your wits about you. Avoid excessive alcohol on first dates and never leave your drink unattended.
- Never Send Money Romance scammers build emotional connections and then ask for money. If someone asks you for money, gift cards, or financial help, it's a scam. Block and report immediately.
- Trust Your Instincts If something feels off, it probably is. You don't owe anyone an explanation - it's okay to end a date early or stop talking to someone.
- Report Harassment If someone makes you uncomfortable, harasses you, or behaves inappropriately, use the block and report features. We take all reports seriously.
💼 Professional Safety
- Verify Employers Research companies before applying or accepting offers. Check their official website, reviews, and social media presence. Legitimate companies have verifiable information.
- Never Pay for Jobs Legitimate employers don't charge fees for job applications, training, or equipment. If a "job" asks you to pay upfront, it's a scam.
- Beware of Fake Recruiters Scammers pose as recruiters from well-known companies. Verify recruiter identities through official company channels before sharing personal information.
